Ser\u00e1 el primer eco rally del mundo en utilizar instalaciones de recarga ultra-r\u00e1pida e introducir\u00e1 la etapa m\u00e1s larga de un solo d\u00eda para mostrar las autonom\u00edas de los veh\u00edculos.\r\n\r\nAdem\u00e1s, el eco rally ser\u00e1 puntuable para el Campeonato de Espa\u00f1a de Energ\u00edas Alternativas y una de las 14 pruebas que forman parte del campeonato del mundo, la Copa FIA e-Rally Regularity Cup.\r\n\r\nLa competici\u00f3n est\u00e1 organizada por la Real Pe\u00f1a Motorista de Vizcaya con el patrocinio del Ayuntamiento de Bilbao y Petronor, y cuenta con el apoyo del Ente Vasco de la Energ\u00eda, IBIL y DS Automobiles.\r\n\r\nDurante la presentaci\u00f3n de la competici\u00f3n en Bilbao, Manu N\u00fa\u00f1ez, director de Petronor Innovaci\u00f3n, ha comentado que <em>\u201c<\/em><em>un Eco Rallye no es una carrera m\u00e1s. Es, a su vez, signo de los tiempos, de la sensibilidad medioambiental que todos compartimos, as\u00ed como escaparate de nov\u00edsimas tecnolog\u00edas, de innovaci\u00f3n, de c\u00f3mo se est\u00e1n convirtiendo en realidad lo que hasta hace poco no eran m\u00e1s que anhelos.
